Sarcoid Uveitis
When the diagnosis of sarcoid uveitis is suspected, a chest x-ray remains the single best screening test, it is abnormal in 90% of patients with sarcoidosis. In cases of a high clinical suspicion and normal chest radiograph, a thin-cut spiral CT scan of the chest may be valuable. In addition, serum angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE)and gallium scan are noninvasive diagnostic tools.
