An important recent reference on Asteroid Hyalosis (AH) proposes a hypothesis accompanied by experimental evidence explaining why AH does not impact vision in most cases. The theory and supporting evidence relate to the lack of significant light scattering induced by the smooth, spherical surfaces of asteroid bodies. This should be cited as:
